Our History...
Starratt Road Christian Church is the result of the dreams and plans of North Shore Christian Church. They purchased land with the intention of founding a new church on the north side of Jacksonville. They built the first building and services began July 1989. Prior to this North Shore had assisted in the establishment of several Christian churches in the Jacksonville area including Englewood Christian, Christ's Church Mandarin, Fort Caroline Christian, and Westside Christian.
SRCC soon grew to the place that they hired their own minister and became an independent congregation. Allan McMillan, who had been the minister at North Shore, became the first minister and continues to serve as senior minister.
Through the years many have been a part of our growing church family.
Several new additions have been made to our buildings and additional land has been purchased for future growth.
We are a part of a growing worldwide fellowship of Christian Churches.
