Burn4 Youth Ministries
We understand that life as a student can be challenging and difficult, but our vision is to guide students to know Jesus and to strengthen their relationship with Him. Students are not the church of tomorrow, but the church of today and are very important in their homes, schools, community, and the world. God is relevant in youth culture and we desire to see Him being placed as a priority in the lives of our students.
Family Worship & Bible Study: Wednesday - 7:00pm to 8:00pm to 8:00 p.m.
After Family Worship, the middle and high school students break away for a time of games, fellowship, and Bible study. We encourage parents to join their child during this time as we believe this will allow for families to continue a discussion or study throughout the week.
ZeroHour: Sunday - 6:30pm to 8:00pm.
The word "Zero Hour" is a military term that means "a time set to prepare for an event or action." Each week students go into action and ZeroHour is a time to prepare for their week. We prepare through games, fellowship, food and Bible study. At the beginning of ZeroHour, we break down into small groups based on school grades and then meet back up at the end for some food and fun! If you are in the 6th through 12th grade, come check out ZeroHour!!
Scheduled Events: Weekly, Monthly, Yearly
Life should be fun, which is why we plan several events throughout the week, month, and year. We love to go to concerts, water parks, theme parks, the beach....the fun never ends!
Our big event for our 6th through 8th grade students is called "Jr. High Believe." This event takes place in Kissimmee, Florida each spring and is specifically meant for middle school students. Students from around the state come together for worship and for strengthening in their walks with Jesus Christ. Check it out on the web at: http://www.ciy.com/believe
Our high school students look forward each year to our biggest trip, CIY "Move." Every summer we attend "Move" where there's awesome worship, a ton of students, Bible study, and powerful messages that will move you closer to God. We are currently in prayer about where we will attend in 2010. If you would like more info, contact our Youth & Family Minister, Tim Harting or check it out on the web at: http://www.ciy.com/move.
